showing dominance in movies

This article talks about how you can show dominance in scenes just by using simple methods with eye-lines, camera angles, and POVs. A movie that exhibits this best is The silence of the Lambs. One scene in particular that showed this was the face off with Lecter and the FBI agent. One part in this scene that was significant was Starling standing over Lecter showing her dominance and the close up of Lecter vs. the medium shot of Starling showing fear.

Although short, this shows us how simple camera tricks can change mood or which character seems in charge of the shot. Cool to know for making movies.
