5 techniques for dynamic cinematography

This article is a list of tips and techniques for making a more dynamic movie. Some of the techniques it gives are use high contrast lighting which can add depth and make your film look better overall, Focus (shallow depth of field) which give it a more natural look, like how our eyes naturally perceive things, parallax which adds kinetic energy, and occlusion which is just simply that things that pass in front of our view block out things farther in the background.

This is nice in that it gives advice from director Matthew Rosen in the video and expands on techniques below it so that it could be read and understood better. I like the advice this give and will have to take it into consideration when the time comes to make films in class( i kind of wish i had this during filming for the documentary....)
